PineHills was originally built in 1966 and was formally named The Pines. The course was reopned in 1993 with a different feel and twist. Architect Arthur Hills, designed the award winning course and is his only one along the Grand Strand. PineHills at Myrtlewood Golf Club been singled out by Golf Digest as one of the “Top Ten Courses” in Myrtle Beach, it also bears the distinction of being the first and only Grand Strand golf course designed by award-winning architect Arthur Hills.
